Albertans celebrated Waste Reduction Week
Waste Reduction Week Highlights ‘06 All Across Canada All across Alberta and Canada from October 16-22, 2006 communities, classrooms, businesses and individuals celebrated Waste Reduction Week (WRW) in both organized and independent events. Launched in Fort McMurray
In Alberta, the week launched with the opening of the enhanced Timberlea Recycling Depot in Fort McMurray. The week also featured a recycling drive at select WHL games. 42 school classes, several businesses and 8 new municipalities completed the Reduce Your Waste-Line Challenge in Alberta. We’re proud of their commitment and their results.
