The RCA promotes and facilitates waste reduction, recycling and resource conservation
in the Province of Alberta through a variety of projects:

• Annual fall waste reduction conference that provides valuable educational and networking opportunities. The next conference will be held Oct. 3-5, 2012 at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Visit www.recycle.ab.ca/conference for updates.
• Enviro Business Guide, showcasing the environmental products and services of our member organizations at www.recycle.ab.ca/ebguide.
• Quarterly newsletter of the RCA, “Connector”, keeps members up-to-date on current waste reduction and recycling issues. Read the current and past issues at www.recycle.ab.ca/connector
• “Newsflash” email service, provides important recycling-related news to our membership, whenever such news occur. Newsflashes are also posted at www.recycle.ab.ca/newsflash
• Members can participate in RCA’s working committees thereby help shape the organization. For more information about the committees, please visit www.recycle.ab.ca/committees.
• Partnerships with other agencies and organizations allowing development of additional special projects which support mutual waste reduction mandates.
• Members (all employees of member organizations) enjoy reduced registration rates for all RCA events, e.g. conferences, workshops, etc.

The RCA continues to be the primary voice for waste reduction in the province of Alberta. As a non-profit, charitable organization, it is only through the generous support of members and partners that the Recycling Council can successfully continue reaching its goals.
